HumanCRM Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 13, 2026
This page explains what HumanCRM collects, how it is used, and what choices you have when you use the app or the public website.
Short version
HumanCRM is built to help you manage personal relationships and follow-ups. It stores the data you choose to enter, requests device permissions only for optional features, and uses a small set of service providers to authenticate users, store app data, process optional conversation imports and AI features, and monitor app reliability.
What HumanCRM collects
Account information you provide when you create or use an account, such as your email address and authentication details handled through Supabase.
Relationship data you enter in the app, including people records, notes, lists, activities, scheduled events, and other follow-up details.
Optional conversation content you choose to add, such as pasted transcripts, exported chat text, conversation screenshots, and contact photos.
Technical and diagnostic data used to keep the app working, including crash and error reporting through Sentry.
Permissions and optional features
Contacts access is optional and used only if you choose to import people from your device contacts or let the app detect newly added contacts.
Photo library access is optional and used only when you upload a contact photo or add conversation screenshots.
Conversation import features run only when you choose to paste text, upload screenshots, or share an exported chat file into HumanCRM.
Google Calendar links are opened only when you choose to send an event to Google Calendar.
Scope of conversation and AI features
Conversation tools operate only on the content you explicitly add to the app, such as pasted text, screenshots, or exported chat text you choose to share.
That content may include information about you and the people you communicate with when that information appears in the messages, screenshots, or transcripts you add.
If you use screenshot OCR, summaries, activity suggestions, or Ask AI features, relevant conversation text and screenshot images may be processed through HumanCRM server-side functions to extract text and generate CRM insights.
HumanCRM does not automatically access private messages from third-party messaging services; it only processes the content you choose to upload, paste, or share into the app.
How your data is used
To create and maintain your account, sync your records, and show your people, notes, events, and activity history across sessions.
To power app features such as dashboard suggestions, follow-up planning, contact import, and conversation history.
If you add conversation screenshots, pasted transcripts, or exported chat text, HumanCRM may extract text, store transcript content with the related person record, and update AI-powered summaries or suggestions tied to that record.
To answer optional Ask AI questions and generate profile summaries, activity suggestions, or other conversation-based insights from the content you provide.
To diagnose failures, monitor reliability, and improve the product.
Sharing and service providers
HumanCRM uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, file storage, and server-side functions that support the app.
HumanCRM uses OpenAI to process optional screenshot OCR and conversation-based AI features such as summaries, suggestions, and chat responses.
HumanCRM uses Sentry for crash reporting and technical diagnostics.
If you choose to open a Google Calendar event, the event details needed for that action are sent to Google through the calendar link you open.
HumanCRM does not sell your personal information.
Retention and deletion
Account and app content, including optional conversation transcripts and screenshots you save, is generally retained while your account remains active so the service can continue to operate.
Some data may remain in backups, logs, or security records for a limited period after removal.
You can delete your account from within the app. For other access, correction, or support requests, use the support or contact channel associated with the place where you obtained or access HumanCRM.
Your choices
You can decide whether to grant contacts or photo permissions, and you can change those permissions later in your device settings.
You can choose whether to upload screenshots or photos, whether to import contacts, and whether to open Google Calendar links.
If this policy changes in a material way, the effective date on this page will be updated.
